Alpaca Walking

Alpaca Trekking

What to expect

Using our tame well trained alpacas we offer alpaca trekking from our base in Hampstead Norreys.

Why not spend some time learning about these fascinating gentle creatures and take a leisurely walk in the peaceful countryside. what better way to unwind

The experience starts with meeting the alpacas and learning a little about them. You will be shown how to lead your alpaca. We then go off for a walk, done at the alpacas pace and they are in no rush!!!

During the alpaca trekking you will be given a bag of feed to give to your alpaca as we walk, we also stop for photos and alpacas snacks along the way to help you enjoy the alpaca experience.

The walk takes around an hour and a half. The walk is through wooded byways and can get a little muddy so we advise wellies or walking boots.

Children must be or 6 to lead and alpaca and if under 9 an adult must hold an additional lead. The route is not suitable for buggys and small children would need to walk or be carried.

We have teamed up with Millets Farm Centre near Abingdon and will be offering Alpaca Trekking from there on the 8th and 9th of June. Its a great place to visit and now you have even more reason
